Lap Recorder v1.0.2.7 Update Released
Redhair has released a new update for the Lap Recorder, part of the kickStart software suite. This version brings several improvements and fixes: - Screenshots using F12 now work in native DirectX 9, as well as with DXVK and dgVoodoo in borderless fullscreen mode. - The "Best possible" lap time now updates even if the Delta is not visible, making it easier to track your improvements. - Segment calculation has been improved: instead of 9 equal parts, each track and direction now has custom segments. - This makes theoretical lap times more realistic. Thanks to Skeich for the segment setup and Carter for testing. - Main sectors remain at three, but their boundaries were slightly adjusted to avoid shortcuts or sharp corners. - Sector bars now turn green when your relative Delta is zero or better, and yellow when slower. To update, open kickStart settings, go to Main Config at the bottom left, select Lap Recorder, and click Upgrade. This update improves lap tracking and analysis for all players.

Teschy qualifies for the Free Run Leaderboard
A new player has qualified for the Free Run leaderboard. Teschy, racing under the Germany flag, completed all Free Run tracks forward and reverse in just a single day to qualify for the leaderboard. His first uploads and full qualification happened within one day, making this one of the faster Free Run qualifications so far. All of Teschy's best times were set using the Mitsubishi Eclipse, a car that is widely known for being at the very bottom of the car rankings. Despite this limitation, he managed to secure position 49 with a total Free Run time of 13:49.57. A notable qualification under challenging conditions. With faster cars, his position on the leaderboard could change significantly.

Teschy qualifies for the Free Run Leaderboard

A new player has qualified for the Free Run leaderboard.

Teschy, racing under the Germany flag, completed all Free Run tracks
forward and reverse in just a single day to qualify for the leaderboard.
His first uploads and full qualification happened within one day,
making this one of the faster Free Run qualifications so far.

All of Teschy's best times were set using the Mitsubishi Eclipse,

Lucky One, racing under the Russia flag, uploaded his first run on NFS.onl on 05.01.2026 and has now completed the full set of Free Run tracks in both forward and reverse directions. He currently holds position 47 on the Free Run leaderboard with a total combined time of 13:44.07. He has now officially qualified for the Free Run leaderboard, marking his entry into the overall rankings. A completed qualification and a solid starting point. It will be interesting to see how Lucky One develops from here.
